Step by step to make the heart of dried flowers:

  1. We give a heart shape with the metallic thread. If the thread is not very thick, I advise you to double the thread to make it more consistent.
  2. We cover the whole heart with florist tape and thus fix the shape.
  3. Prepare the flowers: clean the stems and cut them, leaving about 6-8 cm of stem to be able to tie them to the heart.
  4. At this point you can prepare the flower bouquets or make them as you go by tying them to the heart. To tie them use the floral tape.
  5. The direction of the bouquets can be the same throughout the heart, as we have done, or you can do one side in one direction and the other in the other direction, always starting from the top.
  6. And, now all you have to do is add a decorative ribbon to hang.

Tips for preserving the heart of flowers:

  • Place the crown on a large piece of cardboard and spray both sides with a floral sealer or hairspray. This helps keep the dry sheets stable and prevent breakage.
  • Store the wreath in a flat box with a lid in a dry place until next season. Ready! You already have a lasting crown for future celebrations.
